    Hi Scott,

I have set the free flow in the module settings for both listeing and featured, but those templates are still table based (real estate template). I guess I am doing something wrong? Is there another template to use perhaps?

I don't expect Scott will have made all new templates for this. It's an optional setting for which one needs to make one's own templates.

    Hi Scott,

Can I access a custom field in the journal template   (added a new <a title="" href="[LINK]">{CUSTOM FIELD]</a>? eg. the Summary field when they post a new poker game?

To Rob: but that was the case before, what has changed then? What is 'free flow' introducing in practice?

    Hi Franco,

I haven't looked at the feature yet in Property Agent, but I'm guessing it is the optional switch that makes the ASP control render spans instead of table cells for each list item. It's the same as what we have in the NB Store product list module, and in many other modules that also use the same control.

The template that Property Agent provides for the list view gets rendered within each cell of the grid control. Even if you leave the list template empty, it will be rendered within table cells. The new flow option changes that to spans. You will still be seeing tables within each cell because the list view template you have assigned to it has a table in it. Change that template to divs and you'll have a table-free list.

Note that the drawback with this ASP control is that it renders spans and not divs. However, you an effectively convert span to div behaviour by applying display:block to the spans.

Again.. I'm making the assumption that that is what has been enabled with this update. For all I know it could be something else.. Scott will need to confirm.

@Robax, you are correct it uses a repeater which does not insert into tabular content. The drawback is functionality like show X number of items per row won't work in this mode.

@Rodney, no it doesn't support that token but I can add support in for it.

Yes, please do - ideally I could reference AuthorID, Type, PropertyID and any custom field ID - then I could go to town...

Scott, one more little problem - the Journal Post is made before the property is approved - it should only be done after it is approved IMO?

    @Franco

with the use of free flow you can now easily design responsive templates and it is also great for layouts.

    Scott,

the SEO view property title and type title fields do not seem to work (I am on simple dnn 7.0.6 installation), they are not rendered. On the other hand the URL is friendly, somehow it takes the 'view property title' field. Anybody seeing similar issues or am I missing something?

Oops, my mistake, there is a field in the view item layout file. it works perfectly.

    Hi,

I can't send any question to the support area, is ther any trouble there?

I have an issue with PA: I've set 1 as the maximum number of properties that any user from certain role can own, but any of those users can also edit the properties from other users. Is this a bug or am I setting the module in a wrong way?

    Thank you,
    Francisco

    Hey Francisco,

was browsing the forums and just saw your message. Did you resolve your issue? In case you still have it, you need to change your permission settings :)

    Thank you Loukas :-)

I guess I was setting something wrong when I post the message. A few days later I got the right behavior.

    Hi Scott,
I am interested in the module Property Agent.
I have tried to find out if the module is compatible with the lastest version of dnn (7.2.1).
    Thanks!

We have been using the latest version (1.08.08) with DNN 7.2.1 without any problems. The previous versions were not working as expected.

    Hi Loukas,

I have seen 1.8.9 released, but no release notes. Any idea?
By the way, I get no answers to my queries (not even published!) and Scott's been missing, or what's the situation?

    Thanks!
