You did a great job on the presentation you made!  I like what you did with the markup model, and I can understand its in its basic steps right now.  I hope there will be more interest from other developers to lend a hand and improve its capabilities.  I saw the list of future ehancements and its a very good start..  I am very interested to the comments aspect of photos.  I think its a very unique capability that FB opened the world up to.  When you visit a site even with a good photo sorting method, people always ask, Why cant I make comments on the photos?  So I think its become a solid aspect for photo galleries to add the option to create a comments method.

    Keep up the great work..

Thanks Adam - I've made an updated screencast of the social images module:

Great job!  I see you have been hard at work with the new module, since the user group session..

This I expect to become one of the hottest modules out in the DNN community within no time..  There is nothing out that even comes close to it.

One area that I picked up on the video, was that the comments display at the bottom.  It would be nice if it could be tailors to the right of the image, similar to how FB has incorporated this.  The reason why is to keep real estate within the screen.  No one is going to like to have to scroll down below the image, just to read the comments.

If on the right side, it could display the comments, and then allow a MORE, or jquery function to auto refresh as you want more comments, that would work as well.

I'm reserving that spot for social integration e.g. facebook like, tweet, google+

It's something we can tweak around or have an option to load them there - I'm quite happy so far how it is turning out.

I am happy with it too, dont get me wrong.  Are you thinking to have it template capable like the current simple gallery layout?  If so, developers can probably tweak the CSS to make it implement the way they deem necessary.

it will be templateable - but probably not in the first release - there is a lot of script going on so I need to make sure everything works well.
